As an activity within the second year program for “Promoting Fair Trade in Vietnam” project, Vietnam Rural Industries Research and Development Institute (VIRI) has recently presented at Gift Show 2015 exhibition from 27 to 30 October 2015. During the trade show, VIRI has introduced the project’s aim as well as Fair Trade definition and orientation while also promoting a number of Fair Trade products in order to provide domestic and international consumers with clearer understanding of and an opportunity to approach Fair Trade and Fair Trade products.
Products introduced at the project stand are all from companies with Fair Trade certification and companies applying for Fair Trade certification in handicraft and food industries. The stand has received a lot of attention from both domestic and international customers during the exhibition. To achieve this, the project staffs have worked hard and assertively with aim to introduce Fair Trade products in the best way possible to businesses and consumers visiting the trade show.
